I think i need to quickly set some stuff straight here. I was driving through Centurion yesterday and decided to pull in to a boat shop to get some pencil flares for my new kayak. Lo and behold, there stands the infamous duck! Aah, i thought, let me talk to the shop owner and find out what the story is.

Miramar, i don't know who you spoke to at the shop but the owner told me very plainly that there was no way he was selling the boat for that little and described it is "wishful thinking". It is true that the original owner hasn't paid up yet but the shop owner pointed out that he can't just sell the boat like that for a plethora of legal reasons. Maybe one of the other shop assistants were misinformed?

So, whatever the reason and/or the legalities behind it may be, that boat isn't for sale for that little (otherwise i would've bought it yesterday on the spot! Hehe) he mentioned something about the cost of him having to keep the boat there having to excede the value of the boat before he can sell it. I don't know, but basically, she is not for sale for R25 000, that's just the amount owed to the shop.

Almost drowning myself after getting my spear stuck in redbait in the surf in the Transkei after unknowingly swimming into shallow water in pursuit of a brusher, and not having a sharp enough knife to easily cut myself free from the resulting tangle that had me pinned to the bottom.

Also exciting the water and only noticing my gun was still loaded while washing my gear!

Going shore-diving in horrible weather after indulging in way too much peri-peri prawns and getting violently ill and week out at sea - that was a kak one (literally).

The list goes on longer than I'd like to admit... Hahaha.

Wow! Koop die boot! I can guarantee you won't get a deal like that again. Just make extra sure of the legalities. If you don't, i will! Haha.
